It is the battery Pride specifies for the Super Portable (models SC15 and SC15M), so it fits the scooter's battery compartment and connects the same way as the original. If your scooter isn't going as far as it used to or won't hold a charge, a worn-out battery is usually the cause.
With a healthy battery, the Go-Go Super Portable is rated for up to 10 miles per charge with a 220 lb rider, and up to 8.8 miles at its 300 lb maximum weight capacity. Actual range depends on rider weight, terrain, and battery condition. The battery weighs about 8.3 lbs, so the whole scooter stays under 50 lbs with it installed and is easy to lift in and out of a car trunk.
